I’m just recently back from IUSA, our StudioPlus User’s Conference, SYNC, a training in Nebraska (BRRR! Even though it was warm by their standards – mostly above freezing temps!), and WPPI. I’m so excited to be able to blog about it! The shows we attend and trainings we conduct are always exciting, exhausting, and energizing at the same time. It’s also great to meet so many clients in person!

Since I’m playing catch up and saving time is on my mind, this will be short, sweet, and all about TIME SAVING SHORTCUTS. Even if you’re more of a mouse than a keyboard person, I urge you to try out a few of Spectra’s keyboard shortcuts!

Here are my favorites:

From inside any record:
Ctrl + S = Save
Ctrl + W = Save and Close
Also, while you’re inside a record use the Alt key to display single-letter shortcuts for all the toolbar-ribbon functions.

From any main screen (now called hubs):
Ctrl + T = Time Clock
Ctrl + L = Client Search
Ctrl + S = Session Search
F2 = Home
F3 = Workflow
F4 = Calendar
F5 = Clients
F6 = Sessions
F7 = Invoices
Click the Go menu to see additional F-key shortcuts.
