<p>Please remember these key points when updating your Spectra:</p>

<li>The release notes can be reviewed by clicking <a title="Release Notes" href="http://www.studioplussoftware.com/help/knowledge_base/RN_2013v1r4.aspx" target="_blank">here</a>.</li>
<li>Always perform a <a title="Database Utility help topic" href="http://www.studioplussoftware.com/help/current/webhelp/Database_Utility/Database_Utilities.htm" target="_blank">backup</a> before running the update.</li>
<li>Plan the time to do your update carefully. The update can be downloaded at any time and run later. However, it may be good to plan on running it when StudioPlus Tech Support is available to assist if needed.</li>
<li>Note that if you run the update on just one computer and have any problems, you can always restore to the backup you created and the rest of the computers will still function on the old release. You can then re-install on the failed update computer to get it back in business.</li>
<li>The time needed to complete the update will vary greatly from one situation to another, but in most studios you should be able to complete the download, install and update in under thirty minutes.</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>GoDaddy has been experiencing a system-wide DNS outage today which is affecting thousands of websites and services around the world.  As a result, you may experience some issues with our <a href="http://www.StudioPlusSoftware.com">www.StudioPlusSoftware.com</a> site and also our <a href="http://www.InSpiredByYou.com">www.InSpiredByYou.com</a> site.  Emails that you send to us and SMS text replies may also be delayed.  As soon as GoDaddy resolves their issues, all of our sites and services will be restored automatically.</p>
<p>If you use GoDaddy for any of your domain registrations, you may have already seen an issue with your own website and email.  You can monitor GoDaddy updates here <a href="http://support.godaddy.com/system-alerts/">http://support.godaddy.com/system-alerts/</a>.</p>
