Workstation Preferences – Digital Tab
(available in )
When you take a computer OnLocation after checking out the database, you're most likely no longer connected to where the drive where the main images are stored. You are asked to specify a location on the computer you will be taking OnLocation as part of the check out process. You can indicate what those paths will be by default by filling them in here. This feature can be used to set a special path for just one computer. If used for this purpose, none of the other computers in the network will be able to view the images. Note: These image path overrides are designed for use with OnLocation. Most users will need to make sure nothing is filled in these spaces.
Capture Software - Indicate the path to the capture software installed on this workstation.
Image Editor - Indicate the path to the image editing software installed on this workstation. Spectra will use this path to open images for retouching.
Lightroom Path - Indicate the path to Adobe Lightroom on this workstation. Spectra will use this path if you choose to open images in Lightroom for pre-touch and organization.
Projected Image Size – If this workstation has a projector or large screen monitor you can calibrate the projector so that Spectra can calculate the correct image size in the sales presentation. Click Calibrate Projector and move the black box to the center of your screen. Then measure the height and width of the box and enter the measurements into Spectra.
Color Profile Setup - You can have Spectra use a color profile for your particular monitor.
Check the box to Enable Color management.
Click on the more button to open a browse window and locate your installed color profiles.
Navigate to where your profiles are and select the desired one for your primary monitor.
If you have a secondary monitor or projector, select a profile for it as well.
If you have any questions on where your profiles are stored or how to install more, consult your Windows Help. New monitors usually install the profiles when the drivers are installed.
Dual Monitor Default - If you have a second monitor installed and set up in windows, you may want your sales presentations to always start in dual screen mode. This setting controls the default mode your presentations start in. You can always change back to single screen mode during a presentation without coming back to this setting.
