Users and Security

Learn how to easily control your staff's access to different parts of the software, as well as their ability to perform certain tasks. Add and adjust levels of security – give supervisors more access than employees, but less access than owners.

Please note: Because we are continually updating our library of training videos as new versions of our software are released, this video will likely show an older or newer version of StudioPlus Spectra/myStratus than you have installed. Don't worry! The video will still give you a great overview of this feature.

1. Enable Security
   1. Login with user name and password
   2. Maintenance > Preferences > Company/Studio Preferences > Miscellaneous
      • Enable security features
      • Once enabled, cannot undo it

   1. Maintenance > General > Users

2. Create security group
   • Enter name of the group
   • Add users to the group on Members tab
   • Users cannot be a part of more than one user group

   1. Select security feature on the left and permissions level on the right
      • No access
      • View only
      • Add only
      • Add/modify
      • Add/modify/delete
      • Full access
   2. Suggestions for features with limited security
