Bar Coding

The software has the ability to print bar codes for clients, sessions, invoices, and production orders. You can then use a bar code scanner to quickly look up records and advance the status of production orders.

Please note: Because we are continually updating our library of training videos as new versions of our software are released, this video will likely show an older or newer version of StudioPlus Spectra/myStratus than you have installed. Don't worry! The video will still give you a great overview of this feature.

 

Outline:

1. Setting up bar coding
   1. Maintenance > Preferences > Company Preferences > Miscellaneous
      1. Select where you want to use bar coding on printouts
      2. Print in lower right hand corner
      3. Scan bar code on main StudioPlus screen, and record will open up
2. Batch order updating
   1. Click the bar code button on the production record
   2. Select how you want to advance the status
      1. Automatically advance to the status
      2. Manually select the next status
   3. Begin scanning orders and status will update
