As my first blog entry, it’s probably a good idea for me to introduce myself. My name is Matt Hunt, and I’m the CEO and founder of StudioPlus Software LLC. I started StudioPlus over 15 years ago, not as a photographer looking for a side business, but as a businessperson and software developer. As both the Internet and digital imaging technologies were just starting to take off at that time, I saw a need in the industry to provide software solutions that were designed to meet the needs of the professional photographic community. And here we are today, with clients all over the world, both large and small, that have built their entire business on top of the products and services that our company produces. It’s been a truly exciting journey!
Our head office is located in Cambridge, MN USA, a small town just north of Minneapolis, MN. I’ve been married over 20 years to my high school sweetheart, and together we have 4 wonderful children, all of whom LOVE to help out with the business whenever dad “asks”. StudioPlus has the best employees in the world ready and willing to serve you however they can. They’re currently spread out between four different states – Florida, Connecticut, Montana, and Minnesota.
I love spending time on the road meeting with photographers and studio owners. They are the heart and soul of this industry, and I learn so much whenever I’m around them. To me, owning and running a business is so much more than just business – it’s a way of life.
