Preview Release of myStratus and Spectra 2021!

Today, we are officially announcing the Preview Release of myStratus 2021 and Spectra 2021, complete with new features our team’s been developing, testing, and documenting.

While these past few months haven’t been easy for business owners, it’s important we look to the future for ways we can continue to improve ourselves and our businesses. We’re excited for each of you to see what 2021 has in store for StudioPlus!

What’s new in 2021?

myStratus and Spectra Users have some great new features coming their way!

  • First, we now integrate with QuickBooks Online.
  • Next, when importing invoices, we can now find clients via their email address, so knowing the client number is no longer necessary.
  • We’ve added the Column Chooser and Filtering capabilities to the Add Clients to a Group Wizard, making it even easier to find the clients you want to add to a Group.
  • We’ve added a new Communication Job Manager Utility which will allow you to cancel a job, rather than having to contact Support to cancel it for you.
  • Added 10 Custom Notes fields to Invoices, giving you lots of room to add studio-specific notes to your Invoices 

myStratus Users have these new features

  • Clients can now respond to an SMS Session Remind to confirm their session!
  • Using our Email Service, you can get your clients Email Addresses Validated with our Gold Plan.  
  • You can now look up by a clients Online Username

We are now in the process of completing documentation and training materials. Upon completion, we’ll make myStratus 2021 and Spectra 2021 Generally Available (GA) to all. instructions:

Click Help > About to make sure your AMP date is January 2021 or greater. If not, please email a screenshot to Support@StudioPlusSoftware.com.

We will have a link to download Spectra 2021 the week of June 7th, so keep checking back!

StudioPlus myStratus Users

Starting the week of June 7th, we will be pushing down the upgrade to myStratus 2021 to all studios who have set up Company Preferences (Maintenance > Preferences  > Company Preferences – Automatic Updates to Pre-Release)

On Thursday, January 28th, StudioPlusSoftware.com was moved to a more secure server as well as a new revamped home page.  The home page is for new prospects.  But we still have all our great resources available for our existing customers here:  Support.StudioPlusSoftware.com.

For existing customers there are three ways to access StudioPlus resources

  • Bookmark Support.StudioPlusSoftware.com
  • Go the Help menu in your software (requires myStratus or Spectra 2020 Volume 1 Service Release 3)
  • If you are not on Service Release 3, you can find the latest upgrade by going to Support.StudioPlusSoftware.com > Getting Help > Downloads and select your software
