Microsoft has released three versions of Windows 8. For a feature comparison, click here.

Windows RT – Designed to work on ARM-based tablets only.
Windows 8 – The basic version of Windows 8 designed for home use.
Windows 8 Pro – The professional version of Windows 8 designed for business use.

Both Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro are capable of running StudioPlus Spectra.  Windows RT is not.  In fact, Windows RT is not capable for running any legacy desktop applications like Spectra, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.

With the debut of Windows 8, many manufacturers are releasing new Windows 8 tablets.  As long as the tablet is running Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro, then Spectra will run
