Render Jobs

    
NOTE: This feature is available in the Professional and Enterprise versions of both Spectra and myStratus Desktop.


In order for StudioPlus Finale to recognize when images should be rendered, there must be a Render Job created in Spectra/myStratus.  Render jobs function as the link between Spectra/myStratus and Finale. The render job will not be created in Finale until the session, invoice, or order record is changed to a specific status. See Setting up Render Jobs for more information on the set up process.

Go to Maintenance > Digital > Render Jobs.



  • Description - Choose a brief description of the job.
  • Job Type - Select which type of record the render job will pull from. Choose between Session, Invoice, or Order records.
  • Select Status - Select which Status will send the render job into StudioPlus Finale. The render job will not be created in Finale until the session, invoice, or order record is changed to this status. Note: There can only be one render job set per status. If the same status is used for multiple render jobs, only one job will actually process.
  • Finish Status - Select which Status the session, invoice, or order record will be changed to after the render job has finished processing.
  • Error Status - Select which Status the session, invoice, or order record will be changed to if the render job errors out during processing.
  • Images to Render - Choose which images will be rendered.
  • Render Profile - Select which Render Profile will be processed for this job. See also Render Profiles.
  • Image Group to Render - Select which Image Group should be rendered if applicable.
  • Process Studio (Enterprise Version Only) - Select which location should process this render job. For instance a studio may wish to have certain images printed at the Corporate lab.
  • Inactive - Check this box to mark a render job as inactive.
