Company (Studio) Preferences - Credit Cards Overview

TSYS (formerly Cayan) in the U.S., eWAY in Australia and New Zealand, and Global Payments in the UK, EU, and Canada are credit card processing companies that integrate directly with Spectra, myStratus, and InSpiredByYou. In addition to making credit card processing extremely easy, StudioPlus, TSYS, eWAY, and Global Payments take much of the hassle out of fulfilling the requirements for your business to become PCI compliant. Click here to learn more about PCI compliance and how it affects you.

You'll use the Credit Cards page of the Maintenance > Company (Studio) Preferences menu to set up your credit card processing integration.

Establishing TSYS, eWAY, and Global Payment accounts

You must have an account established with TSYS, eWAY, or Global Payments before you can set up the credit card processing integration in Spectra or myStratus. If you don't have an account yet, for more information and to receive a no-obligation rate quote from:

This will begin the first step in learning about and establishing your account.

HERE'S A FLASH FOR YOU!

Your credit card setup and processing in Spectra, myStratus, and InSpiredByYou will be displayed based on the regional settings of your computer. It is important to set up your credit card account credentials correctly in Company (Studio) Preferences with the information given to you by TSYS, eWAY, or Global Payments. This will enable your credit card settings to show the appropriate regional information (e.g., monetary rates, values, and formats, as well as language differences). Usually computers sold in the region you're located will be set to the correct region by default. If, however, you have clients from other regions, you may wish to advise them that your credit card processing is using your regional standards.

Setting up Credit Card Processing Integration

Once you have your account established, the credit card provider will supply you with your business's own unique set of information keys, called your account credentials. These credentials are entered into the Spectra or myStratus Company (Studio) Preferences for use in all credit card transactions.

For detailed instructions for setting up your credit card processing integration, refer to one of the following (depending on your regional location):

ATTENTION!

It is recommended that you back up your Spectra database prior to entering your Company (Studio) Preferences for credit cards or purging any already collected credit card information.
