Setting up the Client Number System

Following these steps to set up your client numbering options:

  1. Go to Maintenance > Preferences > Company (Studio) Preferences and open the Clients tab. See also: Company (Studio) Preferences - Clients

  2. In the Client Number Options section, choose when you want the software to assign the client number.

    • When Creating a New Client - The client number will be assigned when the client is created. 

    • When Invoice or Session is Created - The software will assign the client number when an invoice or session is created for the client.

    • When Client Status is Set - Choose a status to have the software assign the client number when the client is changed to that status.

    • Do Not Assign Number - The software will not assign a client number.

  3. Click OK to save your preferences.
